How much time do you spend each day focusing on what you want and the positive feelings and emotions that it brings you?
If it’s not the majority of your time, then you may want to start shifting your focus now.
The future that you want, the life you envision yourself living, the things that are truly important to you, the feelings and emotions you want to feel, are what you want to bring at the forefront of your consciousness as often as possible.
If I ask you to gently close your eyes right now and to imagine the life you want to live and the experiences you want to have, are you able to see it like a movie before your eyes, or to feel it vividly as if it was happening right now?
If your visual or/ and kinesthetic experience is not that clear right now, how would you feel about increasing the amount of time you spend each day focusing on it? Does that sound like a good and beneficial use of your time?
Let’s try it again together right now if you’d like. How does it feel? Can you bring into into greater focus right this moment? Again, and again.
With a little practice, you’ll find that you definitely can.
If you find it difficult to visualize what you want, feel inner resistance to doing it, get distracted easily, or can’t get in touch with the positive feelings and emotions that this exercise would normally bring up, try this first to see if you can clear some of the inner resistance and distractions.
When you’re ready, close your eyes again, and ask yourself gently and patiently, ‘what do I really want? And why do I want it? Is anything missing in my life right now?’
If asking these questions brings up feelings of lack, failure, or disappointment, that’s completely normal. See if you can let these go, naturally, as you focus back on what you want and why you want it. See if you can keep your focus on your emotions and how good it feels to see yourself manifesting what you want while letting go of what doesn’t feel good and the negative self talk that tells you that you can’t have it.
Are you ready to take a leap to get what you really want? Are you willing to let go of the past, the uncertainty, the self-doubt, and step into the unknown, trusting that you have the capacity to consciously navigate towards that which is most meaningful to you? Have you defined the steps you’ll take to get there?
How much more time are you willing to spend visualizing the future in the present moment so that you can get in touch with the feelings and emotions that it brings up right now? How much time will you spend each day ‘feeling’ it until it becomes ‘true’? And how much time are you willing to invest in releasing the subconscious blockages – that the negative self-talk and resistance points to – that are preventing you from having what you want right now?
When you answer these questions, you’re willingly and intentionally bringing your conscious and subconscious mind into alignment with what you deeply want. This process accelerates your capacity to manifest what you want with the least amount of effort, resistance, and interference (i.e. self-sabotage.)
The more time you spend focusing on your emotional and energetic state, the easier it becomes to make a quantum leap towards manifesting your dreams and living the reality you’re consciously choosing to co-create because your present energy state reflects and attracts the situations and reality you want to create into the future.
